As per tradition, I must create a celebratory post to showcase my favorite pieces from throughout the year. Month by month. Because I love to see myself improve. And I hope you do too. I still haven't exactly made it big, but I have made it to a place where I'm content with myself. I know I know I have fans, and that's plenty for me.
I've kinda come to the realization that my art is kinda divisive in such a way that you either really like it, or you really don't. Which is something i get a kick out of.
but yea, monthly break down time:

Its a really good sign when my first comm of the year is clickbait eevee related. I designed them specifically to make money. But it means my brand works, and its not being greedy. You can't ever accuse me of this. But like, the clickbait eevee's are the most genius marketing move I ever made, and yet I can never put it on a resume. Feels bad man.

In kindred spirits with the clickbait eevees, I was happy to get a series of Evie Aisha off the ground. Designing a character who makes people want to get bullied is such an empowering feeling. Who would think it feels so good to turn people into fursuits and slimey neopets.

I just really like wonderbolts outfits, and I like drawing ponies. There isn't much of a story here, so to bloat the word count, I'm just gonna say it again. I just really like wonderbolts outfits, and I like drawing ponies.

I managed to get this whole comm done in one day. Start to finish. Tight deadline. It really did make me feel like a real pro at my craft.

This trade was a blast to work on, and some time very well spent. Inflatable tfs are something I keep telling myself to do more of, but then I never do. I NEED YALL TO PRESSURE ME INTO DOING INFLATABLE TFS.
June: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36647163/
Its really hot.
like I go back to this piece a lot because its really hot. I know Dez does too.
Do yourself a favor and look at a salandit in hot pants.

Whenever people compare my art style to other artstyles, A) I kinda dig it in general, and B) I get a new direction to take my art if I feel like venturing that way. When someone's like "hey, you're art style is similar to this, can you try to recreate it more though." I get really really motivated. This was that case with Puyo Puyo. Plus furry to human is really good, or what ever the commissioner wants to be.

my goal when starting of was to make people want to include Dell in their comms because he's hot. Turning into Dell via Dell is just that but with an extra layer of spicy goodness. A checkmark off my list.
September: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38210772/
There isn't a whole lot of story here. I'm just happy with how this piece came out, and it was a fun fun art trade to work on. It helped that we finished both sides of the trade within like an hour of each other by sheer coincidence.

I love Chespy. I love Perennial. That is all.

okay, okay! This one I would consider my best picture of 2020. It all happened because someone was like "hey, Dell, Can you draw this picture that isn't sexy, or fetishy, and just sci-fi enough to not be explicitly a fursona?" To which i thought, "this is a picture I can show real people whenever they ask to see my art." So that's why this picture ended up so freaking wonderful!

I am not the gatcha related transformation person. I am going to own this roll, and if you want to get gatcha related comms, You must ask me for permission first. Not really, but I will assume I am in some way at fault for your new guilty pleasure.
