Convention: None
Date: File dated 2015
Description: Final piece two of two.
Yes, I'm absurdly insane. Fortunately Jianre-M is too, taking on this mammoth of a project of creating a Centaurpede with me!
This is the inkwork that was completed traditionally and then later colored digitally, and you better believe that it took many months to complete.
For reference, each segment of my length is on its OWN sheet of paper, 8.5x11. That's one page for just my torso and first horse, then five more for the following horses, and one page for the two trailers I'm hitched to loaded with precious ore.
Individually scanned, then stitched together into Photoshop produced this impressive length of six horses hauling a correct amount of weight to what a Clydesdale can carry. While not as absurd as my full length of two hundred fifty horses, this was already an insanely expensive project for the artists time when you consider its all hand drawn. Unfortunately because of the beautiful elaborate harnesswork all down my horses my wings had to be left off for this one, else that stuff would've been hidden and covered.
While I can't cite the source, in looking around for how much Clydesdales can haul, I read somewhere that Clydesdales can pull three times their body weight.
So by that math, one ton horses can pull three tons of weight. Multiply that by six and you get a pulling capacity of eighteen tons, so two trailers at ten tons a piece should really demand everything my legs can give.
