A dread creature, the quartzy slurrn.
Often mistaken for a peaceful creature, the slurrn is anything but. it radiates a soft white-rose light from the rose-quartz it imbeds into it's hide, which it uses to cut and store it's prey on, and it wears down to smooth rounded pieces. The slurrn has only six bones in it's body, all of which are used for support of it's rocky additions. The light serves to draw in prey, and the slurrn can devour almost anything that can fit in it's network of caves. once a year they shed all stone and tie themselves in knots to remove parasites and shed old skin.
