I never cared for the American voice either, but I just heard the Japanese version and couldnt believe my ears, did...did I just hear GOKU!?!?! OMG its Goku's voice actor, and it fits PERFECTLY he sounds all cute and innocent at first but when things heat up he sounds so bad ass!! OMG Guilmon just earned 9000 more cool points
You know, of the original four shows, Tamers was my favorite, I think. And Guilmon was one of my favorite Rookie-level digimon (though my favorite Digimon of all time will always be Omnimon/X). But yes, quite shy. "Takatomon, why my cheeks warm?"
As a side note, I can actually do a pretty good Guilmon voice. "Guilmon bread! Guilmon bread! There's a loaf shaped like my head! Yay!"
