"Sarge?" The person called, curiously looking around themselves. "Where... are you? You wanted me to come over and here I am... but you're not he-"

"Here I am!" Came an excited voice from above. The person looked up to see a portly figure standing on the roof. Their arms were stretched out.

"What are you doi- AAAH!" The person yelled as the figure jumped off, flapping their arms wildly, as if they had a pair of wings. They looked away for a moment, but when they did not hear a thud, they looked back up to see a chubby blue jay slowly drifting down to the ground. As soon as they landed, they stood up.

"How'd I do?" The blue jay asked, mouth contorting into an awkward grin.

"It was like watching a balloon drift down to the ground... with a lot of flailing." The person smirked, shaking their head. "A blue jay, huh? How'd this happen, Sarge?"

"Uh...." Sarge blushed, averting his gaze.

"Did you eat the neighbor's birdseed again?"

Sarge was silent. He lifted a wing and stared at it... he then looked down at his belly. Finally, he looked back up. "Yes... I didn't know it would turn me into a bluejay."

"And a fat one at that," the person smiled. They reached over and patted the blue jay's belly. "Still soft and fat as ever, it seems!"

This is part 3 to  rusbane 's and my little Animal-forms trade, and quite honestly, this is probably my favorite! I love blue jays, and being able to turn Sarge into one is a blast!
