The Arizona Cardinals' new mascot seemed like a fun idea initially, but problems arose when he began challenging mascots from opposing teams to duels. His swashbuckling nature and ability to do cartwheels in full armor were huge hits with the fans, but officials expressed serious concern in regards to his frequent displays of swordplay on the sideline, during which he often came far too close to striking cheerleaders with his swords. Finally, upon the third incident of his blades puncturing a ball during a game, the decision was quickly made to retire him.
