{Dark-side Abilities}
"Time in Hell's Purgatory didn't leave her without a gift of it's own. When they revealed at 28 years old, she found that the powers were demonic in nature, and came from a species known as Shadow Demons. From what she got, she has about 15% demon in her genetics makeup, but it only brought more issues than benefits when her powers began to wane and her body began to break down in the first year. It was the pact she made with the demon himself, aided by Goldie’s secret benefits with the dark lord, that brought her biology to be 50% Shadow & Fire Demon, and no longer on the verge of turning to dust. This comes with pros and cons, but tries to push the latter to it's limits to increase her endurance."
+Rabbit Agility
"With the speed to match the strength, Diana can easily dodge attacks and sneak like a feline."
+Supernatural Strength
"Because of her unnatural nature and years of training, she has the strength to wield Past Sins with ease in it's Ultra-Greatsword form and carry heavy weight."
+Lack of Pain
"As a side effect of her torment in purgatory, and her past life, she has little sense of pain and can endure extensive amounts of damage."
+Ancient Spring-lock
"The suit that her former life, William Afton, died in, now a tool to use for torment. She kills most of the enemies she fights, but when she gets her hands on the worst of scum: pedophiles, death-row inmates and/or worse, she puts them through the slow, agonizing death that last for hours before they're sent to the devil himself as payment & to torture even worse there.
However, this suit is more than just for torture as Diana can manipulate the shell to fight, terrify and protect, even to be warped around her as protective, temporary armor."
{Shadow Magic List}
+Shadow Phase: "In the presence of darkness or low-light shadows, she's able to faze into the darkness and other's shadows, using them for cover to move around with ease. Upon enhancing with her Demon Form, she can dive under the surface during the day and rush at enemies, leaving black-ichor handprint splatters in her wake, to strike from below."
+Shadow Shade: "With her dark powers, she is able to create a shadowy figure of herself out of solid black darkness, one that seems to have a mind of it's own as it defends her back and front, aid in stealth maneuvers & attacks or even become a decoy to lure away. Upon enhancing with her Demon Form, you should beware the darkness, for it can feel your heartbeat."
+Purple Flames: "Her anger & determination can manifest into purple, blazing fire at the tip of her fingers that light her left arm's tattoos with purple fury. Whether it's hocking fireballs at unexpecting enemies or empowering a weapon beyond it's limit, her fiery magic can leave a mark. Upon enhancing with her Demon Form, her flames become even more destructive or increase the power of the weapons, but reduces them to ash or slag."
+Fiery Puppet: "The embers of her punishment became the body for her old, perverse life of Springtrap, now known as Scorch-Trap. This mechanical puppet of purple embers, metal and demonic rage is combative & a tank, aiding Diana in combat, either shielding her from shots or tearing apart armored foes. When in her Demon Form, this beast becomes even more enrages and strikes harder and in unison with Diana"
+Demon Form: "When all else has been expended, she uses all her energy to transform her power to enhance her own body's capabilities, as well as enhancing her powers. Using these powers drain her of energy, even more so in the day. She can only use it once a day for a few minutes and needs a few days to recover from it in her Weak Form."
{Flaws}
+Guilt of the Past
"Her new life isn't a new slate as it was given. Her memories of her past, brought along with her in her new life, still haunt her five-hundred years later. At night, when she knew she was alone, she would stare at her rusted, bloodied knife for the longest time, remembering the sins and regrets of her life as William Afton, The Purple Guy, and always held hatred towards that life. It would end with her silently crying. Now, she is able to tolerate it a little more, thanks to her brother, Goldie and the Crew."
+Killer Instincts
"It wasn't just her anatomy changing. Her past followed into her new life in the form of predatory instincts and a vampiric appetite, making her somewhat a vampire without the bad side effects. However, going long without blood leads to her body weakening and her sanity waning. Seven days, that was how long she went for without blood, and she nearly drained Goldie, transformed into her Shadow Demon Form and killed bandits that were hunting her and Goldie. She vowed to never skip another feeding again."
+Sensitivity to Light
"Because of her partial demonic bloodline, she is a little weaker when in the presence of light, be it artificial or natural. Even then, she would push her powers to the limit, risking a lot of energy to do so."
+Sensitivity to Cold
"Because of her partial demonic bloodline, she is a little weaker when in a colder environment for too long, be it natural or man-made. She pushes her limit in the freezer though, which Chica doesn't like."
+Weak Form
"After the use of her Shadow Demon Form, she is much weaker to light and the cold, can barely use magic or Past Sins' Ultra-Greatsword form, and she has no strength or speed. Her body is more corpse-like, skinnier and weaker than normal. Frequent blood feedings or long-period rest will shorten the time it takes to recover."
+Short-Temper
"It's self-explanatory, but don't piss her off when it comes to friends, family and loved ones. This leads her to a lot of trouble."
{Relationships}
Faera: "She's like a little sister to her and would risk injury and death to keep her safe. She never leaves her sight unless she is with the Goldie, the Crew or at the Center Castle, that's how untrusting she is of strangers."
Goldie: "She's the thing that kept her together on their universal travels when she was in pain and suffering from her dreams. She's basically her girlfriend now."
Freddy: "They don't get along that well because they're polar opposites in personality and attitude, but they have a sort-of silent agreement, and they have their moments to show brother-sister moments."
Bonnie: "Definitely her jam bud. She likes to pluck the cord with her and enjoys brawling with her and Foxy. It's a bonus to have another rabbit around too."
Chica: "She likes cooking and tries to get to Chica's level, and she goes to her more often than the other to heal any wounds that don't regenerate. Chica nags at her about this, but she has always been a mother hen of sorts with everyone in her care."
Foxy: "They both enjoy a good time, be it ale, partying or just a good bar brawl. When fighting, they have each other's backs and keep everyone safe. They both get hurt a lot, but enjoy the moments they have."
{Her Story}
"In the pits of hell, the soul of William Afton has been sent through purgatory of his own making for six hundred years, the animatronics of his own twisted creation slaughtering him nonstop by the children that he killed long ago, his stone-encased soul cracking with every death. Golden Freddy, once just a being seeping with hatred and vengeance towards Afton, now only watched the dead killer go through her tormenting circle, until she watched him break. He cried and wept and cried, something the vengeful spirit didn't see before when he died, but now she could see his soul for what it was: a bleeding heart with a broken mind.
And so, Golden Freddy tested him, using the memories of his children's deaths and his horrendous experiments with his emotions at their highest, for seven days. What she truly saw was a broken father that tried and failed to bring his children back, and saw the regret, self-hatred and pain from his very soul. Afton was soon approached by the golden animatronic and offered a choice: Stay in purgatory, reliving the death of his children and the heinous crimes he committed until the end of all time, or have a second chance, a chance at a new life in a new body, but at a certain age, would remember all that had transpired in his past life. He didn't want to experience the agony and sorrow of his past anymore, but he understood what the golden bear meant and chose to change for the better. When he shook her hand, he blacked out and felt his mind go blank. With no memories and reborn in a new world William Afton was no more, and Diana Tanner was born from her new mother.
Diana Tanner, a yellow, female Flemish Giant, lived the kind life of a low-class citizen with her rabbit siblings in a small rural town. Being an older sibling out of half of her other older siblings meant she had the responsibility of watching her younger siblings, keeping them out of trouble and keeping them safe, something that she was good at. As she grew older, she noticed changes in her behavior and mood. At 10 years old, her teeth fell out to be replaced by sharper teeth, fangs and a pointed buck-tooth and her eyes changed from green to golden amber. At the age of 13, she began to change mentally and emotionally, her dreams now haunted by images of terrifying animatronics and places she has never seen, waking up to cry at night. By the time she turned 18, now living in the dorms of her college and taking on the tomboy punk biker look, she started to remember her past life and the misdeeds that she had, and a primal instinct to hunt began to form within her. Every so often, when she looked to someone, she thought about the scent she could smell, and what they tasted like. She would hide her drooling lips and down mints every time she had that urge. It was at this time she noticed them, anthros that looked and felt familiar to her. Red fur here, a fancy top hat there, even to smell pizza and find a plate with a slice wit her favorite toppings on it. She tried to shrug it off as nothing to worry about, that it was in her head. On one walk through the city to clear her mind, something caught her eye in an alley, one that would change her, an 11 year old snow leopard with no parents that she took back to her dorm room.
College went by like a blink of her eye. Her life had changed around when she found the little snow leopard, worried her past would make her want to murder or her new carnivorous instincts would kick in, but all she felt was the want to protect this child. It was tough for her at first, taking care of a kid and acting as a sister again, as well as only having her motorcycle as a traveling home for the both of them. Her predatory instincts didn't help either, which evolved into a strange form of vampirism. To avoid hurting Faera, she would go out into the neighboring city to find someone to drink from. She never killed anyone, but she worries it would get to that point. Every now and then though, she would find aid in strange ways, like money in her wallet that she didn't have before, or take out left at the hotel they were staying at. As the years progressed, so did the aid, from change and take out to paying bills and child support. But with the aid, she noticed them more. A familiar fox or suspicious bear helping with a bar fight, giving her aid or giving her their blood before leaving, all dressed strangely and out of the norm of time. Her fears of who they were had died over the years, but she always wondered if it was who she thought they were. It wasn't until she got her answer at the age of 25, when the world was finally ending.
It was when the world was collapsing in on itself that she feared the worst. Orbs of dark power formed in the sky that swallowed the world, dark entities with strange symbols attacked people and took their hearts who themselves become those dark entities. Nowhere was safe, not even on the roads. Diana and Faera were trapped within a city when the Heartless and Dark Entities came, running and hiding for as long as they could until they could run no longer. It was when Faera was about to meet her end when a dark power erupted from the rabbit's arm: purple embers and a cold fireball of purple fury that incinerated a Dark Entity and saved her life. They ran when Diana cleared the way for them, stopped when a strange orb of symbols and prismatic light formed in front of them, a yellow-furred hand held out from it. The darkness was closing in on them, so she took the hand and was pulled in with Forge.
It has been three years since the day her and Faera's world were swallowed by the darkness. Some of the world's survivors were evacuated to The World at the Center of the Universe, a world that Goldie and the others had found during her life. It was there that they lived in the Link Between Worlds Castle, training to stop these Dark Entities, exploring the other worlds with Goldie while Faera trained with the Freddy, Bonnie, Chica or Foxy when they didn't go with them, gathering information, weaponry, trinkets and material that aided them in the fight.
It was during this time that Diana began to learn the rules of other worlds: Avoid interfering with conflict unless it's with the Darkness, never mention about the outside worlds, and adapt to every situation that you can. However, she couldn’t adapt to the changes her body hit her with near the end of the first year. The powers she had weren’t impressive at the time, only the fireballs she knew and the ability to digest blood, but it began to fade on her. When everyone thought it was a good sign, it turned out to be much worse when she collapsed unexpectedly. Her body was failing her, and no amount of blood or magic was fixing it, she would wither away and turn to dust if nothing was done. Goldie traced it to the demonic DNA in her, and that it was causing an imbalance within her life-force. And so Goldie took the rabbit to the one place that would know about demon anatomy, the dark lord himself, Lucifer(Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss)
When they arrived, he told them that the bare amount of demonic make-up in Diana was leeching off her like a cancer, slowly killing her by draining her body of life until it was only dust. Only a few options were presented, but two were the only way to go:
1): Diana would be fully mortal again, but lose her powers, the immortality she had, and the memories she had accumulated in her new life, as the metaphorical tumor had latched onto her memories when she was first born.
Or
2): She would go under the process of demonic ascension, where she would become 50% demon, balancing her body to flow and turning the leech into a symbiotic relationship. She would be even more powerful than before, and would wield & develop powers to come. But in doing so, she would make a pact with Lucifer.
Diana didn’t see much choice: become an amnesiac & cripple or become a half-breed & work with Lucifer. She took option two, but with Goldie’s help as she had a favor from Lucifer, Diana was only going to bring in the souls of the truest damned: rapists, pedophiles, murderers, and far worse, for him to pay her debt off.
When these terms were put in demon blood, Diana went through the ritual to infuse her biology with demonic essence. It was a trial and trick all on it's own, as the rabbit was put through purgatory all over again of her own making. It almost took her life, and plunged her into eternal darkness, but the fire of her love and determination for her family & Goldie were what burned a violet light through the darkness. When she returned, she was stronger and more determined than before, the shadows of her past now under her command, and her signature weapon was born in those flames of trial: Past Sins. When it came time to leave, Diana thanked the shocked demon lord before telling him something that surprised him:
'If it were me alone, I would have become that amnesiac or gladly let the darkness take me. But I’m not alone, I have Faera, and Goldie, and the Crew. They were why I did this, not because of a lust for power, or a selfish need. If you ask me to bring some innocent soul in, I’ll kick your ass with my family behind me.'
In the coming years, she became the team armorer and blacksmith when they couldn't use their modern weaponry, and learned how to adapt quickly to a world, how to survive the change of ancient ruins to bustling dystopian cyber-cities. It was in those same three years that she became a great sword fighter, a terrifying infiltrator and a loyal ally that even death can't grasp.
She visited hell from time-to-time, be it to see Loona & Octavia, Charlie & the gang, travel the fiery streets or just to find her own means to create chaos & have fun. She self nominated herself as Professional Exorcist Hunter whenever the Cleansing occurs. With Ember-Trap, Shadow Tanner & her Past Sins, she fights these things that try and wipes out the denizens of Hell, including herself, even if her weapons can't truly kill these beings. She only knew purgatory, but she still counted herself a denizen of Hell, and she doesn't hide this fact an inch.
When Faera turned 21, trained and ready for the worlds beyond the Link Between Worlds, they all started exploring the realms beyond to fight off those who would bring evil into this world. It was her family, Faera, and Goldie that drove her determination and passion to be the best she could be, to be better than her past, and to rise above any challenge to be their shield, their sword, and their violet flame.”
