My furry D&D character. My name is Gideon Hoss and I am a pen and paper RPG'er. There, I said it!! Here is my 8 foot tall, buff, berzerking tank of a wolf taur I play in Savage Worlds (we run it very D&D style in the setting) with some local fur friends. :) This was sketched while we played and later just tossed in some colors. Been playin the character for months, but was the first time I fully could figure what he looked like. Kept it very Conanesque in style, having read some recently and of course being a Frazetta fan I had too.

Indeed, Ilkarin love? I have 17 years under my belt as player (though I GM other systems, not D&D). We must speak, yes indeed. Note me and I'll pass unto you my AIM and email addies. Whoo-hoo! You get mundo geek-points! I play a lot of Ironclaw/Jadeclaw myself, more because I find the system on the whole more entertaining, but that's another post entirely.
As for this picture, I love your armour (or lack thereof) designs. The scrap of steel here, a leather strap there...It really goes well with the whole tank/berzerker theme! Love it!

He's got a, uh... a Mace! and a crossbow... oh! and a battleaxe +3!
He's done such glorious things like... dying at the hands of goblins and...... dying at the teeth of a hydra...
He knows a bonus language ._.
And no I'm not making fun of DnD, I've actually played one round with some local furs o.o If it were for the DM's uberbuff NPC, the game would have been painfully short ._.;;;
But yes! I idolize your character and wish to someday be... somewhat as intimidating in stature e.e;;

now that is good. but if he were say, Arcanian how would he look different than a Cimmerian pictured here? hauling out my own charcoals then stopping; putting them back realizing i'd have to 'finish' one finally to complete my point, "oh never mind" what might i ask is savage lands? it sounds hauntingly familiar somehow to be the copy of the game i used to play in the early eighties, "Savageland" unfortunately Tony, could not publish it because all he had done was to rewrite Runequest with Arduin rules.
You're a furry; being a D&D fan is like, hand in hand with the fandom o_O At least the circles I'm in it is XD I would have to come up with some sort of squirrel race to play as my character though, and figure out how to make his being half-demon not be uber-powered o_o; (I've never played D&D but the mechanics and everything intrigue me :3)
eee! i play D&D too, just the "normal" D&D. i have 3 characters going, a 9th level 1/2 orc monk, and two 3rd levels: halfling rogue/swashbuckler, and a human hexblade. Ironically i'm using the new class "hexblade" in a story i'm, writing.

Long time Conan fan (as if my name didn't scream duh!) and a Frazetta. Used to own the entire series and several posters of his classic works that were on a number of the covers in the late 70's early 80's.
