Cool! I have been a Star Trek geek since I was about eight years old and my fondness of Trek has grown ever since. At that time, all that I had was reruns of the only three seasons of of the original series.
You talk about how you like having the symbol for the United Federation of Planets as you profile pic. As a member of United Federation Starfleet (UFS), a roleplay group on Second Life, I really would love to have the real life version of my UFS duty uniform; complete with the UFS Corps of Engineers patch on my left shoulder and my UFS LGBT patch on my right shoulder. ^!^

Well, at least I have been able to throw together a cheesy TOS version of my uniform, that I wear to furry and science fiction conventions. Still, what I wear is nowhere near as cool as this wolf fursuiter that I met at FurFright (2011), this weekend. I had a couple of photos of the two of us together, so stay tuned. ^!^
Oh cool! I went with friend to see Federation Science when it came to Boston's Museum of Science. I'm pretty sure that was where I got my TNG commbadge. I have worn it a lot in the past fifteen years (or even twenty years, because I don't remember exactly when it was), but unfortunately, it broke on my first day at FurFrighrt. Somewhat of a setback, but it wasn't enough to keep me from having a good time. ^!^
By the way, I'm friends with a wolf of the Klingon Empire (according to her, wolves are warriors, but they are not Klingons) who lives in Seattle. She's one of the moderators of Star Trek Furry Union (STFU lol), on Second Life. We get along great, as long as we don't talk politics. She's Republican and I feel that being Republican is totally UN-Roddenberrian. I'd be glad to introduce you to her, if you would like. ^!^
