I made a ref for him! I got the original design from 
, as a custom design. Altán’s design is inspired by the Odogaron from Monster Hunter World.
“Altan” translates into “Golden” in Mongolian, and “Red Dawn” in Turkish, so I thought that would be a perfect name for him due to his colors. I found the name through the game Ghost of Tsushima (There is a Mongol boss named Altan.)
In addition to fire breath, Altán can also spit magma, and the loose golden scales on his back and tail sound a bit like chain mail when he moves. He has heat immunity and can swim in and under lava with ease. He also has a row of “gills” on each side of his neck that helps with temperature regulation.
