Okay, so I'm a nerd; I was looking at this older gag image I made from 2006, which I made because I was tickled by the intersection of goofy "horror"/"sci-fi" that is Gremlins, comix (with an X!) via Evan Dorkin's Milk and Cheese, and hip-hop via Audio Two's classic track, "Top Billin'".
This was back inna day before hip-hop calcified into the lumbering un-fun that took itself far too seriously. Anyway, Audio Two was comprised of two brothers by the awesome names of Milk D and Gizmo. The track itself is a gem of uncomplicated, early (1987) hip-hop bluster.
Blah blah, so I recently found an acapella of the song and put it through my changes.
I also set the remix to a video of microbiology, which is right over -> here.

I remember how much I 'hated' that kind of hip-hop back "in the day", but seeing what it's become now, I almost miss it. For one, while it didn't take itself too serious, it just seemed to have more to do with creating something fun to listen to rather then just massive bass and "bitches 'n hoes".
Kind of like this - fun to listen to. Kudos.
