Bio:

Ysida serves as one of Prince Rikki's Royal Quad, being the big bruiser of the group. Though his silence and brutish nature have made most citizens wary around him, he means no harm to those who mean no harm to others. He has served as a guardian for the kingdom for millennia, being able to crush armies on his own with just his fists, thus earning him the nickname "The Giant of Gorillas". The other Royal Quad members try and make him speak more often, mostly during their freetime, but he refuses to budge for anyone but his prince and queen. He can be seen travelling with the prince during important meetings of the royal family, and sometimes down at the beaches of the island where he gazes at the horizon, seemingly contemplating something. To cut it short, he is the bouncer you'd want at your side all the time...which is what he does anyway.

Powers/Skills:

- Immense strength
Even among other gorillas, Ysida's strength is respected greatly. He can cause earthquakes with a slam of both hands, and a tough stomp can make stalagmites and pieces of the ground rise up.

- Thick-skinned
Gorillas on Pommelia are known for being considerably durable, and Ysida is no exception. Normal bullets, punches and other average stuff doesn't even make him flinch.

- Nature's Knuckles
Before becoming one of Rikki's Royal Quad, Ysida made special gauntlets for himself that greatly enhanced his already dangerous punches. As a reward for his centuries of service to her royal offspring, the goddess of Pommelia secretly granted Ysida's gauntlets with the power of nature itself, allowing him the use of geomancy; this involves moving the earth, regrowing flora and, to some extent, control over wildlife.

- Day's Beginning armour
As a member of the Royal Quad, Ysida is given armour that is blessed with the power of the day, giving him more resistance to things during the day and the ability to see further around than usual through the sun's rays.

- Gaia Orb
A rare gem created by the first magic users of Pommelia, Rikki himself gave Ysida this orb as a reward for being his bodyguard for so long, which enhances his geomancy greatly.

Weaknesses:

- Slowness
Though he still moves fast for someone of his stature, Ysida is the slowest of Rikki and his Royal Quad, being barely able to keep up with them,

- Dull
Ysida remains focused and ready at all times, but he lacks the psychokinetic abilities most of his kind do. An unfortunate trait of the gorilla race.

- Destructive powers
His physical strength is one thing, but Ysida's geomancy is extremely powerful thanks to the goddess's blessing and the Gaia Orb, so he only resorts to it when there's little choice, as he doesn't want to destroy things that don't require it.

Fun Facts
- As he is more focused on combat than relaxation, Ysida is one of the few of Rikki's kind who doesn't breed with others unless requested or it's required.
- He laughs hysterically at Rikki's jokes, even if they're not as funny as they could have been. One time he overheard him telling a joke to some little ones in a house he was visiting, and he found it so funny that it broke his focus. He laughed like a madman for 10 minutes straight.
- Some say his silence stems from a case of social awkwardness, or perhaps he just doesn't have a lot on his mind. Some go as far as saying the goddess robbed his voice, which tends to anger him.

Been another long while since I posted a new OC (VERY long on this site), but here is one at last, and quite an interesting one too.

Recently me and my friend  Monkey-Lover have been speaking on Discord about a series I've been continuing on DA, and I got the idea of merging his canon with mine. Long story short my series involves an origin that links every single universe there is (even AUs), and I've even been asking friends here and there if they'd like their universes/worlds to be in the future stories. I don't intend on revealing anything least I make spoilers, but then again the canon's lore is pretty damn convoluted so some of you may have trouble understanding. ^^;

Anyways, I got the idea of making direct servants for Rikki and thus I drew up this guy. I'm pretty proud with how the drawing turned out, considering my lack of expertise in how to pose a character or creature. XD Anyways, I hope you like it.
