If you thought Covid-19 would stop Feruda from getting her artworks done, boy are you wrong! Despite the challenges I have been facing in 2020 I have still been able to pull through with my artwork season! I am happy to announce that my next piece is finally ready for posting! Let's get to it now!
So here we have a head reference I have commissioned from the great and talented Himera. I have chosen to make a head reference to help artists better understand the trajectory of my head. Himera and I also added in the details for my mouth and teeth. The poses of the portraits make for a great angle to show the shape of my head, while also giving artists the details about my mouth and teeth. So we took advantage of these poses and killed 2 challenges in one reference. So now it will be much easier for artists to understand the shape and trajectory of my head. While also getting the details for my mouth and teeth.
In addition to this being a feral reference, this reference also applies to my anthro as well. As my anthro has exactly the same head as my feral, only minus the neck shown in this reference. Which is why I and Himera chose to do this reference as feral only, because for the anthro you just take the head from this reference and put it over to the anthro. While ignoring the neck on the feral, since the anthro has a different neck and glowing markings. Me and Himera chose to do it this way, so we wouldn't have to make a second head reference dedicated to anthro only. So this saves us time and work. On top of that my anthro reference already gives more than enough details as it is by itself.
So there you have it folks! Another piece completed. Full credit to Himera for another job well done!
