This is basically a small update on how things are going at the moment. Just a small one. I'll give you guys a bigger update tomorrow, which is the final day of this year.

My laptop has broken. The breakdown on the small four day lockdown has basically fried it. I had it working for a few hours after two weeks since but it's back to a blank screen for an "update". Apparently I'm not the only one who has been affected by this "update" problem.

What does this mean exactly? It probably means that any uploads during next year will be incredibly slow. Usually I would do one post a month for this year and I'm glad that I had this idea or else there would be nothing this month. The projects that I had for this and next year have been put on a hiatus that would probably last for at least two months if lucky. It also means that the things that I didn't move onto a USB will either be gone forever or take so long to get onto a hard drive that it will definitely not be finished this year. That means that the next chapter of To Become of Us, entitled Plague (I came up with the title before this all happened, don't judge me), will never be finished. Dialogue that was written as well as where I wanted the story to go will be wiped. Same for the next chapter of Mary's life. I'm incredibly disappointed that this happened and I'm frustrated that the update didn't give any warning that it was even updating. I'm just happy that it didn't wipe any of my hard drives that was plugged into the laptop.

So, yeah. It's not exactly great on the creative side of things when the thing that you use for all of the uploads here has been crashing.

Full update will be tomorrow to round this horrid year off. It's not going to be pleasant.
