The year of 2020 is finally ending, huh?
I have a decent amount of thoughts about 2020 and how people acted this year. As much as people will blame 2020 for being a horrible year (and it was), part of said blame also falls on us as human beings. We have made so many mistakes and could have handled things differently. If we had just stopped for a second and thought things out, I believe a slightly better outcome could have happened.
But now is not the time to dwell on the soon-to-be-past. No matter what happened, what's done is done. That does not mean to forget the past, however. I've...lost a few people who were special to me this year. And I think you will agree with me when I say I will never forget them. I know I'm not the only one. Some people are in far worse shape than me and all I can do is give them my condolences.
For as much as 2020 has given me the most heartache than any year, it has also given me the most growth as a person. As cheesy as it sounds, I was able to start improving myself because of all the pain. I was able to find a group I liked, met new friends, and was even able to settle a few doubts I had about myself for years. I'm still naïve and clueless, but I'm learning. I'm grateful for the few good things that have happened to me this year.
2020 was a bittersweet year for me personally. I was lucky to not suffer as much compared to other people, despite having my own issues. But that does not stop me from being sympathetic to others and hoping for a better future for everyone. I have a lot more to say than this, but I do not think I can fully express all of my feelings right now. I'm naïve and clueless and I just want everyone to be happy. It's as simple as that.
As I have previously said, what's done is done. It is now time for everyone to support each other for the coming year of 2021 and beyond. Let's hope for a better future together. Thank you for everything. Happy New Year (or early New Years' at the time of this post).
As much as I talk about this year, making this poster was surprising fun for me. Made two versions of this poster. The original picture is here.
Again, I'm genuinely grateful for everything. Thank you.
