2020 Art Summary (Animated)
My art summary for 2020! Despite this year being pretty shit for everyone, I actually think I made some pretty good strides in art this year. While I dont think my illustration skills improved much... or at all, I somehow managed to do a LOT of animated pieces this year (well, at least more than I ever had xD) So thats something I guess!
Some other art goals I hit this year were:
- Relying less on Paint Tool Sai and more on CSP
- Got back into making comics regularly again.
I think for the future, I'm gonna redirect my focus less on illustration and more on animation and comics. There's already thousands of great illustrators who can paint/render better than me xD so I'd rather try to focus on something that.. not too many people do? At least with the illustration skills I do have, it can help with backgrounds/lighting when I do more animations haha.

Even then, do the thing where you squint to see the overall thing. Geuninely, your composition has simplified down so everything is communicated a lot better. The shading supports the form.
It's easy to miss these things because you get snow blind to your own work but I really have enjoyed watching you over the years and looking forward to seeing 2021 <3
