La Final Big Religion of the New Dominion, The Church of the Awakened God started as the christian cults of Earth, but things changed when God awakened and broke His connection with the Universe, it is said that this break was what provoked the cataclysm that destroyed the universe and sank it into chaos, consummed by the Cosmic Miasma and with the sppce made a mess of randomly interconnected points... The link wasn't entired broken, though, the actions of a group of Angels that loved mortal life allowed the link to be preserved and for the promise of eternal life in the afterlife to keep being a reality. Ot at least, that's what is said...

This group of Angels is known as the Itineran Angels, since they were cast out from heaven to wander the world and help the beings they gave everything to protect... and while the itinerant Angels are seen with respect and appreciation, the Angels who remained in heaven and did nothing are considered dicks... no one will tell them that to their face, though... one has to die to meet them first, anyway...

All these provoked a series of changes in the old catholic organization. While they still keep most of their principles, they made a few adjustments here and there.

Their temples vary in shapes and sizes depending on where they are and how much help they can get, but they are always very well lit places to be like beacons of light and hope to those lost in the seas of darkness... they used to be enemies of the Church of the Holy Darkness, competing with them for the role of saviours of the world and protectors of life and civilization, but that changed when Argenta appeared in scene...
