Studying was important to the young Eeveelution. It was how he was going to get into college. It was how he was going to build a life for himself.
Tip-tap-tip-tap.
He was constantly wanting to distract himself though. The material was not the most engaging and there were so many other things that demanded his sparse attention.
Chew-chew.
Oh, he had switched his pencil to his mouth without realizing it. It tasted kinda nice. The wood was not very bitter and the sensation felt nice on his teeth.

But he really did need this pencil to finish his studying.

A sigh breaks the drumming silence. Back to work...
Studying has always been extremely challenging for me. With my Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, it can be difficult to read a simple sentence or write a paragraph. My thoughts can often wander towards the most unrelated of things. The feel of the paper, duties left unfulfilled, and even my own anxiety for how the work itself will turn out. ADHD is a struggle, but one that I am learning to overcome bit by bit every day.
Looking at the picture, I really like this kind of style. The sketchy nature on a notebook page is an aesthetic that I feel is not done nearly enough. The way the lines and the colors mix together in a way that helps both to simultaneously pop right off the page, while at the same time keeping an air of humble origins. This is not artwork that pretends to be better than you. It is an artwork that suggests mutual appreciation.
