Drawings I Want to Finish Dept.
I love Rock Band. I play drums. My band members are all based on my characters. These are based on the costumes in-game; the human versions came out surprisingly well.
That's Moira on bass, Hunter Halfelven on guitar, Brandi on drums, and Hannah on vocals.

After scanning the blue line sketch, I can see why you like placing them onto a toned surface. I have a CanoScan Lide 30 Scanner, but I have NO clue what magic you've pulled to get the images to look so clean and sharp. I usually dump all the modifications the scanner tries to make, convert to grayscale once in photoshop, then I multiply-mode copied layers.
You do such a gorgeous Hannah. I can't wait for you to post that reclining image of Brandi.

Shhh! ^^;
The Levels tool in Photoshop is your friend (cmd-L). I move the right-hand slider to the left enough to drop out the texture of the paper, the left-hand one to the edge of the 'plain' of the histogram, and then mess with the middle slider to bring out midtones. Then I pick the red channel, which gives the best contrast with the blue pencil, and convert the image to greyscale.
The cleaner the image is the better it works, of course, but this works pretty well even for very rough sketches.
