...well, technically, last light. And a big flash. I rented a Ranger for this one, that's a full size studio strobe that's hooked up to a big lead-acid battery for use in the field. You wouldn't want to hike with one, but on a nice road trip with a buddy, perfect.
But I think the name "First Light" slides better off the lips than "Last Light." :)

That's an AWESOME find, and a well-composed photo (the others also). I'm envious. I'd post more of my photography like this, but FA kinda frowns upon it, unless it's in scraps. Do you have a DA site? I'm at http://roothragon.deviantart.com/ -- I haven't gone as far as to bring my own portable lighting places yet, but after seeing these kinds of results, I'm definitely going to look into it.
