Artist's Note:

This was very personal labour of love for a very very long time; all of this year in fact, and perhaps even a little of the previous as well. I've been picking at this on and off, adding more detail, changing my mind on the colours, the contrast, the composition. I've changed every layer, every setting and tried so many combinations by now I'm unsure if I'll ever be satisfied but, I'm happy enough now that I feel like I can finally put this long term project to rest.
As always, all of my art is done completely with a mouse due to my hands being unable to grip a pen for any decent amount of time, so doing a large scale image like this with a ton of detail does end up taking months. Though, I'm still content that I can draw at all. I haven't had the best year, like a lot of us, and before that I can't say things were much kinder to me. But I can still draw, and that I believe will keep me going.
