Angel: What's happening?
Buffy: Shh. Don't worry about it. I love you.
Angel: I love you.
Buffy: Close your eyes.
Angel: Buffy...!

Yeah, that scene killed me dead. Slayed me, you might even say. X3
Even more so? The scene at the end of "Amends". I'm over halfway through the third season now... :o

heh, thumbnail caught my eye, picture loads, and I think "waaaaait a second... *reads description* ah, yep..."
wow for having not watched that episode in like 2 years... that scene is still in here *taps head* huh... in any case, if you were able to evoke recognition with this... I dare say you did VERY well in what you were trying to do...

That definitely was a heart-wrenching scene too. Basically there was no part of this or anything related to it that wasn't heart-wrenching. :o I loved it all, from the initial concept of Angel loosing his soul in Buffy, to Jenny's tragic demise and all the other aftermath, Buffy sending him to Hell to save the world even after he was cured, enduring centuries of torment... nobody breaks hearts like Whedon. <3
I was so pissed at Xander for that! What a dick move. And then again when he tried to get Faith to slay Angel in S3 when he found out he was back. However... the last episode I saw was 3.13, "The Zeppo", and I must say it saved my opinion of Xander. What an episode. It basically was the show making fun of itself, which I love, I kept cracking up aloud. X3
And yep! Been past "The Wish". My real name is Anya, so I was quite excited to finally meet her. Also, way for Joss to take an episode to randomly have a chance to kill all the main characters? XD Also, Vampire!Willow and Vampire!Xander were oddly sexy.

Oh yeah, I know!! I love that scene. "I told him I loved him, I kissed him, and then I killed him." "Giles, I can help with the spell..." "Willow, there is no spell."
I loved Anne, has one of my favorite lines from the series "I'm Buffy, the vampire Slayer, and you are???"
Hey, did you recognize Julia Lee? Back from the episode with the vampire cult? :) She was Lily/Anne. :)
Yeah, just wait until that comes back, and it does, BTW. I love how joss never forgets stuff like that. :) LOL. The Zeppo. I love how the whole episode it's the apocalpyse, and Xanders just like OMG OMG OMG.... And no one noticed. HEE!
The Wish is one of my favorite episodes. I love AU Giles and Willow. :) Vampire Willow was one of the many things that made me a Willow fan. She's awesome as a vampire. :)

Yeh, sneaky Giles. Also, aw. Some tears welled up, they did. X3 I wasn't entire certain what his motivations, were - did he want to know to help Buffy deal with it, or did he want to know how Angelus died to feel more at peace about what happened with Jenny and being tortured? Maybe a bit of both. He does definitely love Buffy like a daughter, so I'd like to say probably more of the latter.
And yep! Of course I recognized Lily/Anne, she pointed out her identity herself. Very cool to see her come back! And I hear she does again. Recurring background characters are fun.
The Zeppo was so great! I think I laughed the most when Buffy and Angel were having one of their dramatic scenes, Xander awkwardly interrupts them, the dramatic music stops and they just stare at him, and as soon as he leaves the dramatic music resumes. XD
AU Giles seemed pretty much the same and ordinary Giles, just in an even more dire situation. Loved him as always of course. That episode was interesting, but it was strange that no-one at all remembered the alternate reality, not even Cordy who's wish it was - so it made the whole thing kind of pointless in the development of the characters. It was more of a piece just for the audience I guess. It was intriguing to see what Sunnydale would've been like without Buffy's timely arrival, makes everything she has been doing seem much more meaningful. Though I do hear Vampire!Willow comes back soon and am excited for that craziness. :D

LOL. I forgot about that. That was so hilarious how Xander was just totally like the fly on the wall. Oh hey, you know he has a identical twin, who actually doubles for him once and plays him when he got sick?
Anne doesn't reappear again until Angel season 2, where she recurs until his final episode.
Oh yeah, vampire willow returns and she's awesome. :) Though the thing is that cuz Anya's power got smashed it all went away like it never happened, but it did still affect Anya, obviously. :) So not a total loss, and AU's are always cool. :)

Yeah, just got past that episode earlier today! Lesbian-ish happenings between normal Willow and vampire!Willow were awesome. XD
Also: when Buffy's all, "Don't worry Will, a vampire's personality has nothing to do with the person that it was" and Angel was like, "Well actually---" and then when everyone stared at him, he backed of and said, "...that's a good point!" <-- Uh-huhhh. Interesting times, right there. I suspected that. Now I'm quite curious to know more about the inner tickings of vamps. Because it's not as though all of them have the same personality, or that they are all equally as cruel, and yet they can't help the things they do.
I was just having a discussion about it with a friend of mine, and came to the conclusion that Joss trying to say there's a monster somewhere deep down in all of us, the "id" if you will, and the "soul" is whatever stops you from embracing that. So having a "soul' is having the ability to choose. I dig it. Thoughts?
Now I've just finished "Enemies"... ahhh I was fooled for a moment there and thought Angel really lost his soul again! Intense.

OMG, that was epic. "Buffy, that's me as a vampire, I'm so evil, and skanky, and I think I'm kinda gay!" LOL. Willow is so awesome as a vampire. :)
Hee. I love when Angel is about to break Willow's brain and then he just stops like that. LOL. :)
Hm, that's an interesting idea, I kind of think of it maybe as a balance, we're both good and evil, but when you become a vampire the force pushing one way is gone, so all that's left is evil.
What did you think of the episode with the evil watcher? :) The Glove and Gwen Post? :)
Oooh, you must have seen Wesley's first episode then. "Is he evil? The last one was evil." Did you know he's married to Alyson Hannigan?

I don't think he stopped so much to avoid breaking Willow's brain as to avoid admitting aloud that everything he'd done as Angelus was related to the sort of man he was. Because that would be... heavy. Willow was a pretty hard-ass epic vampire, but most vampires don't stand a chance of comparing to Angelus' cruelty. >_>
Yeah, that's another way of putting it! You suddenly loose the ability to be anything but your worse.
That was a good episode too! And again with Xander being a twat though, there, that being the one where he tried to get Faith to slay Angel. I'm glad Gwen was evil, way she was hammering on poor Giles. Wouldn't have wanted to see her long. XD
Yep! I know. Craziness. There was much talk of Alexis Denisof related things that I saw after he popped into Dollhouse as Perrin.

Either way, it was funny. :) LOL. :)
I loved the Buffy/Faith fight at the end, it was very cool. :) I at first missed Kendra, but the more time went on the more I started loving Faith. :) I like em both. :) Joss is just good at picking the perfect actors for the perfect roles. Plus, the man is loyal. I respect loyalty and reusing good actors. :)
I really have to admit I was very surprised to see him pop up on Angel, though he grows so much over the run of the series. ;)
