Number five of the “Fowl Kingdom” rooster series is “Fowl Foreign: Garth”. Although this colorful rooster was never introduced into the hierarchy, he begged to be involved.

:) Thank you! I can't believe someone just threw Garth away (how else could he get stuck in a briar bush on the side of the road?) He's our loveable featherbaby now.
Thanks! I can see the advantages to going digital in this technology enhanced world, but I truly don't see the gratification in making art that isn't tangible unless you print it. There's just something about putting your hand in the paint (yes, I paint with my hands a lot) and making the paint do what you want it to. Thanks again! *hugs*

Those feathers, my goodness they look fantastic and the green you chose for the background works perfectly to make him really pop. I honestly thought this was a photo at first, I know you painted realism but this one really stands out against the rest for me, perhaps it has to do with the story. Ive such a huge soft spot for chickens and other birds.
Yep! The only thing cooler to me would be a metal rabbit, haha! :D But alas, there are few parts of me that fit the Chinese version of what a rabbit is. Rabbits are shy, and I'm about as shy as an airhorn. Rabbits are hard to get emotionally involved with things (like business), and I totally get riles up easily. The only thing the Rabbit shares with me is the soft heart...only I hide my heart with lots of strutting and feigned hard-assedness. :D
LOL! Well, the chinese zodiac isn't always right. Maybe you fit your astrological zodiac better? I find that I'm a blend of both...which is bad, because Dragon + Taurus = some not so endearing traits. *shrug* Aww, it's okay to have a soft heart. Just don't let the front of awesomeness hide you from everybody.
