Happy New Year! I chose to celebrate by copying a photograph of a real coati. It seems to come from National Geographic Wild's Instagram, at https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxud8F4.....=1tzybo68xc6qg ... one of the famous Iguazu Falls coatis. This was a fun picture to draw, not just because the coati had such a great pose, but because I tried adding a bit more squiggle to the starts and ends of my lines and that seems to have worked out quite nicely. Also it's really satisfying to draw trees after all that practice I got copying Walt Kelly poses.
