When he was a marine, the one real abuse of his power was this sort of thing- stymying Karens. Generally, Hazama is a kind person, but he despises people that abuse those under their thumb. There's no way he hasn't absolutely verbally dressed down a Karen or two giving some shop employee shit while wearing his uniform, with his friends at his back.

(Frankly, if anything, he's become a lot more likely to do more than verbally dress someone down now that he can turn into a wyvern)
