Oh my gosh long-time listeners will know I like my bouncy pieces but this is next level bounce. This is based off my holiday to Japan (I do intend to do that Atlas album at some point) and the madness of the colours and lights and energy brought this frantic piece to life! Odaiba is a little part of Tokyo which is all colours and music and activities, and Setsubun is an annual event I had the delight of seeing, which is where the Japanese usher in the start of spring, and this was done with a very solemn monk-led chanting and incense event, where then everyone chucks food at each other. Madness. Like this piece!
