Personality: Jimmy is a bit old fashioned; he doesn't quite feel like he fits the modern age but he's trying, though his speech and tastes tend to lag behind. He's a man of vice, loving to consume, and gamble, and flirt, and enjoy himself irresponsibly. While he likes to front as a tough guy and act snarky, he's a big ol' softie big down, and his sense of fun is spoiled by someone else not havin' a good time.
Description/Backstory: Jimmy is, in truth, a kitsune. He tired of the life he was assigned as a spirit and, in a fit of teenage rebellion despite bein' centuries old, he blew that joint and took on a mortal form in order to play with mortals and indulge himself in all his passions. His knowledge of things came from stories he heard from outside, so he's literally decades out of date and overwhelmed with what's goin' on. He's makin' do by doing various 'fun' jobs: Cardsharking, clubhosting, bartending... Ey, he's had a lot of time to learn and a lot of dreams.
Kitsune Traits: As a spirit fox, he's not exactly like... y'know. All there. Not mentally but in a more literal way.
See, Jimmy's immortal, but his body's a work of magic. In order to be physical, he's gotta suck energy out, or possess somebody. He prefers not doing the latter, so he's a bit of an environmental vampire. Like, he's not a blood-drinker, but he can suck out some life energy through mackin' on someone or whatever, like an incubus. Alternatively he can sap things from the world around him. Like suckin' the beauty out of music or the words out of a book, or the heat of a flame. It generally makes the world suck.
His medallion contains his soul and full powers whenever he's material, so he guards it preciously, and whoever he's possessin' has to wear it. He can also shapeshift into basically anything, and make illusions. As long as you believe em, they're as real as real gets; but strongly religious or spiritual people can't see em, and instantly break them when they interact with it. Also, he can't hide his fox tail if he breaks concentration.
Oh. And as a nine-tailer, he has clairvoyance. He uses it to cheat at cards, heh.
