Yyyeah. That building sequence? that lasted a couple of years in-universe.
I hope the comic artist gets better soon, i really want to continue that story.

yeah, the knives got stuck in the part of the machinery that allows her to fly and also keep each of her parts synced so she will be unable to fly and might have the brain grinding on some of her joints she wants to move until the knives are taken out and a proper checking to avoid any bits and pieces of the brass gears were not cut which would make her skip a beat every now and then.
While the frame is sturdy... it does not take much to damage her because she is precision clockwork and her brain is basically made of brass.
Also, her internals are brass, so she has low friction and resists water corrosion but since her frame is made of steel, she will get corroded by water over time.
All in all tho... this is stuff i do not like to think about.
Yes, i do think about it because it's inevitable, she's a machine and does not heal on her own.
But thinking on purpose of all the ways in which she could get damaged without somebody ready to assist her is not pleasant.
