It's......not an easy situation...if he kept silent...then who knows what kind of damage he'd do. Plus...I bet Marty thought of all the other people that were blackmailed thanks to him. yea i realy feel for star in this and i can feel her anger and embaresment hell im near tears right now. i know what martin did is the right thing to do... but still betraying trust like that even if its for the benifit of the many its still going to hurt a lot. and in the end star still has to work under her boss inless she can get transferd to work under someone elce on base but even then theyd still be on the same base and ppl would eventuly notis the looks they give eachother in time.

Honestly, I think I completely understand what's going through poor Star's mind right now... The poor thing just wanted to get away from all that stress, to heal and recover with those she cares most about, and now she's face-to-face with her abuser.

Sure, it's in a scenario where the roles are reversed, but... I almost feel like it's poisoning the well, in a way... Linking such cruelty and malice to something she loved so much. Sure, they're doing this to help get back at him, but none of them even asked Star how she wanted to proceed, they just did their own thing.

Star's Happy Place, somewhere she felt safe, has been invaded by someone she never wanted near it. He had already encroached on it, but now he's there in a "worse" way.

And then there's the trust issue. If it turns out Martin DID tell Manda, then she's going to see that as a violation of her trust.

Though I will say that Martin was in a Damned if you do, Damned if you don't situation from the get go. Either he violates Star's trust and warns others that Marellis was breaking the rules, and abusing others, OR he stays silent and allows the chance for further abuse, violating the trust of others in the community.

And as much as this absolutely sucks for her, I'm sorry, Star, but warning others about an abuser before more could be harmed was the right call.

THAT SAID... They really shouldn't have sprung it on her like this. I'm sure they meant well, but it goes back to her Safe Place being Violated by him being in it. There was a better way to do this. Pulling her aside to say "We know what's been going on, and we had to stop him before others got hurt." or something to that effect. And definitely not dropping her into a room with him, at least unprepared.

I think it's much simpler than that. This is just so foreign to her that she needs some time to process it. However they keep firing suggestions at her and keeping it in character without really explaining things.

Yep, I think you hit the nail on the head with this analysis. If Martin was responsible for this, even though I understand his intent, he clearly acted against Star's wishes. No matter how much we as the audience would like to see this, we should remember that we are not the character in the story. We don't have her baggage or trauma. I truly hope that everyone who reads this comic comes to see how nuanced and complicated a situation like this truly. 😊

Poor Star. I think I'd react much the same in her position. One, I wouldn't want Marrelis anywhere near my play space considering what he'd done, even with the tables turned like this. I'd just want him as far away from all of it as possible so that he could leave me alone. Two, I don't think I *could* do that to Marrelis, even after the crap he's pulled. Two wrongs don't make a right, etc. and I wouldn't want to escalate things into an all-out war. I'd just want it to *stop*.

I'm hopeful that Star and Marrelis both take the merciful road out of this. Star lets Marrelis go and destroys the evidence in an effort to de-escalate, and Marrelis calls it even and lets Star off the hook out of gratitude. Very anxious to see how this actually plays out though.

Has to be jarring, going from a feeling of safety and vulnerability, expecting some escapism, then having is sprung on your that you're actually there to give your blackmailing jerk boss his comeuppance. :/

I kind of like this karma fate for Marellis, he told everyone on base that Star was Bab and got everyone teasing her, it's only fair that turnabout was fair play. Mary looks adorable and super blushy right now too. Not funny now that the bootie is on the other foot Mary is it :p

My feelings are like the peanut butter and jelly mix jar, damn. On one hand, poor Star. I don't know exactly what's going on in her head, but if I had to predict, it's probably a feeling of unsafe vulnerability. She came in, got hugs and love and felt safe enough to let her guard down and then got a severe shock at seeing Marellis, who not only has been tormenting her about being a Little all week, but she's now in the same room as him again while in a vulnerable 'baby' position. Sure, he is too, but this isn't likely to make her feel safer, especially going from security to an extreme situation so quickly. Maybe a video will prevent him from tattling on her, but there's still a hundred little ways he could potentially get back at her and make her life harder that she's probably stressing about. I hope Martin is able to talk her down and has a good explanation for all of this, because they've made a greasy peanut butter mess.

On the sweet side of things, Lure is so wonderful and hilarious in this page. I love how wholesome he looks in the first panel. Just like 'what, a kidnapped victim in sissy baby attire? Nah, don't mind that, look, I got BLOCKS!' And then in the next panel just looks so smug at how 'Mary' is growling at him, like Marellis might actually have been bummed about not getting to play. Legit the only thing missing is a small panel down the bottom that's just a close up of Lure sticking his tongue out sassily in response to all the grumbles of his reluctant playmate.

Oh! Wasn't expecting to see Martin there. (I'm still standing by my theory, until evidence proves otherwise, that Lil Mary forgot Tessa was likely ALSO on base?)

they could've made him an outcast in the community he apparently often frequents, they could mark him as some kind of outcast there and they could have been pressing him with footage of his own crimes, which star actually has. But this... if I were marellis, i'd absolutely sue them and decline every other aspect, claiming that he just found the footage of star online and made a little fun of it. They all had to out themselves to prove him wrong, it'd go all out in public - something a few of them clearly don't want to.

But then again, that'd be scumbag me in a realistic setting - not sure how this will play out in comic logic

If you want my opinion on a comic logic base, only 3 things can happen (maybe more, but BabyStar knows better)

1. Star could run away without giving time to Martin to explain, even leaving without changing her clothes

2. Martin gives the explanations, but is making Star even more at unease

3. Martin explains and Star is cheering a tiny little bit

My best bet would be the second option... maybe mixed with Star telling Manda what happens...

When it comes to characters sueing others in the comic, since there seems to lack cops in that universe, I am afraid that this won't do any good...

there is military, i guess there are cops, too.

i assume that Star will feel betrayed since Martin told their friends and mostly because they put an action without her knowledge. I'd be pissed, too, because this is forcing action on her as well, she has to handle a situation with a much more hostile Mary/Marellis since Hei/they have no golden bridge now. And an enemy cornered without any perspective to escape will fight much much harder.

Yeah... even so, this comic isn't focused on crime solving for the main plot, so even if cops exist only in the background, they won't be able to interfere with the script, which was written years ago. She is only drawing those pages into comics, which she does so well, I just want to hug the character right now TwT

I wouldn't asume what the comic is about, and what themes would/should/can adress. Specially when we can instead ask the author, right here, about it.
The comic had already taken dark paths, realistic paths, kinky paths, comical paths even introspective phylosophical paths before, It could totally go anywhere from here.

Sometimes, it's not simple, especially since this comic has a "relatable charm" woven to the texts before being drawn into this comic... This makes things even more complicated to separate...

You're telling me that you find it difficult to not confuse this comic for reality?

Psychology isn't my expertise, but even a fiction can rally groups of any kind, whether it's sci-fi, like Star Wars for example... mythology woven through games like Dungeon & Dragons, heck even the smallest masterpieces like this have given me hope of finding someone that I could share such a safe experience (although in my case, it was my bf who was curious about ABDL through this comic and I had given him the chance to experience this joy)

Anyway, some people easily splits fiction and reality, while others experience intertwined moments where they either have experienced similar things in their life, in a way that is thinning the limit between their real life and their fantasies/fictions/wishes like Lure when he's home, or that can attribute some empathy to the depicted characters.

I am probably over-analyzing right now, but this is my deepest thoughts about that subject.

If you wanna know, I am more of an empathic reader, nearly to the point where I can sense the drawn emotions of the characters...

While this is such a fitting punishment for "Mary" here, I was full-on expecting Star to just grin it and play along with it. Though, it IS understandable that she'd have uncertainty about this, being in the same room as her tormentor - nonetheless being in the same exposed situation.

on one hand I'm for this because I know that when you run in good practicing kink communities if you broke the three golden rule's the biggest being consent you'd be tared an feather kinda like how Mary is right now

To be honest I cant blame Martin for stepping up and saying something. I was always told its best to deal with problems early so they dont get out of hand later. And who knows what could happen if Star didnt tell Martin about the photos at the part?

If star can get the whole situation taken care of here and now. She wont have to dawdle on the thoughts of it any longer. Thus allowing her to relax, and have some fun.

Although this is all Marelis' fault. If he wasnt such a meanie pants and took those unauthorized photos at the party this scenario would have never happened. So if Star should be upset at anyone it should be Marellis, not Martin. Martin was only doing what was right.

Well... from the way it looks, it sounds too likely that Martin has broken up his end of the promise in order to prevent more malicious movements from "Mary" against Star... Sadly, that promise was her last safety net about her ABDL world, knowing that Manda won't know, but the way she spoke in the second to last panel... she sounds like she's aware of Marellis's "video tendencies", thus leaving Star in a broken heart state... that she can no longer trust anyone in the ABDL community... either that, or that she needs to back off enough so that she can either

A. get some time to think with Martin

B. cry her pain out in Martin's arms

C. never return in that house (praying it's not this one >~<)

I've learned never to try to guess where Sammy is going with her comics, so I'll sit back and wait for the next few pages to see what's happening, but I'm sure there are going to be some heart to heart conversations between Martin and Star, if she doesn't get out of there first.

Honestly I didn't expect that. You'd think after all that, Star would've stayed there, most likely still in shock. What people are saying here though, I can understand why she just decided to yeet out of the room. She was expecting to just be able to enjoy herself away from work and life stress, but here it is, the one person who she wants nothing to do with, stuck in the same place she's at. A cruel payback, but not a well explained one.

while star is right to feel some sort of betrayal against martin, she also needs to understand that he had a right to tell manda about it, not just for stars sake but for the others that have potential blackmail against them. think of the other littles at that party, think of how many more lives sarge could ruin. star is not the only one martin is looking out for here.

So everybody is assuming that Martin told Manda (a reasonable conclusion honestly) but there's also the possibility he was simply found out because he did the same thing to somebody else who wasn't afraid to tell somebody. Though given the people involved that seems doubtful.

Tessa works in the military, doesn't she? Maybe.. just maybe she has found the same flyers Marelis gave to everyone, and then is just a "2 + 2 scenario". Where could they gotthose photos from the party? who, from the militar services was at the party? who has enought rank to use this material/footage this way? then the questions... does anybody saw something strange in the party/meeting? Nobody at all saw marellis recording things? could they be more victims from him being blackmailed?

It could totally be a "Martin told them" scenario... But it could be diferent too. But the the questions.. why would Marin be there, then? Well, he was on the caretaker team of the event, maybe everycaretaker is now aware of this (and they should) but why Martin is here specifically instead of other caretakers? Maybe because of his relation with start? But, Manda and friends doesn't know about this relationship yet (or do they? i don't remember).

I don't know i'm trying to find a way in wich Martin keeped his promise. But as mentioned by other people. They can't just do nothing and not inform everybody they have an abuser (or at least a traitor) in the comunity taking adventage of other people in their safe place. Not talking about this, not adressing the situation would destroy that safe place for everyone in that comunity, it may be viewed as "they sided with the wrongdoer and don't care about us all".

Oh wow. I really love the expression of discomfort Star has here. She seems so conflicted on the whole thing, that desire for wanting this guy to get his met with the swift realization of "not like this". I gotta say you really craft a layered character in Star which is what has kept me hooked to this work so much.

On a related note I really, really love how you draw the diapers here. Around Star's behind in this side shot it looks so right. Bulky enough without being too massive and contouring to her properly as she is at rest or run.

I feel like Marelis is getting off too easy here. He deserves a bigger punishment than this.

Dunno why she ran?. She get her revenge on Marellis. They record him. So she has something to use against him as well. She should be happy see Manda, Martin and Lure be in her corner.

She ran because she knows the second Marellis gets free he’s going to take his frustrations out on her.

It's a certain amount of assume, this is supposed to be a safe place for her, and now a person who's caused her extream stress and has power over her is in it. Even if he's powerless currently there is a feeling of betrayal or fear about him even being there

Yeah idk, I'd be pretty uncomfortable too... sorta feel like pushing someone into a fetish scene against their will is always a sort of sexual abuse, even if it's a taste of their own medicine etc. It doesn't feel like justice exactly, maybe especially so for a fetish that has a humiliation component. Of course, Star could be about to bring up some of these very points.

But yeah idk what Marellis did is super illegal not to mention morally reprehensible, I kind of wanted something besides getting him back by also doing something morally crappy and illegal I guess.

There's always shades of grey, and even the 'good guys' in any story are always capable of doing things that aren't entirely good; ends and means and all that.

I mean, broadly speaking I agree, and I kinda figured the plot was going to go with some variation of "mutually assured destruction via blackmail," to get Star out of this. That said, IMO, coerced/dishonest/exploitative sex stuff is a little over my line for "shades of gray," particularly for a story that's showing the positive community surrounding a oft-misunderstood fetish, if you follow me. Put plainly, I'm fine with Marellis being humiliated, fired, etc, but I don't really want to see a sexual abuser being tricked and then sexually abused. Once you get to the point of harming others for your own gratification that just becomes abuser-logic IMO.

That said, the situation hasn't been made entirely clear. Just the vibe is that this is non-con humiliation/punishment, which is... you know, kinda rapey.

He's not being forced he's already apart of it. He's being punished via humiliation/black mail just like he was doing to others.

I mean he's part of the same kink community, but that's not the same as consenting to being dressed up and/or filmed. This is just going off the vibe given by the art, mind you, but "turnabout is fair play" doesn't feel like it covers sexual violations to me. Plus I just find it skeevy. The humiliation/punishment aspects of ageplay are a fantasy for Star, and part of what made the experience so harrowing for her is having that fantasy used against her by someone who has power over her, while also basically threatening her whole public identity. That's like, analogous to the trauma rape survivors deal with. It's some serious shit. So, while Marellis definitely deserves punishment, I can't really see purposefully inflicting that kind of trauma on someone else as heroic or fair.

But again, this is just a read of the situation based on the art. My hope is that the situation is either a little different to that and/or that we're going to have a talk about whether this is going too far for vengeance.

I know she wanted to get back at him and sure to how he acted towards her was uncalled for but for this way i dont think it will be the best way to do it even though he deserves it and still broke a ABDL rule and that is no photo or videos unless the person is comfortable and is a big no no for showing or streaming someone other side.

He's also in her sanctuary. As good as revenge is, I'm not sure this is how Star would have chosen to get it. Good storytelling!

i admit even though i laughed my head off at the last page i actually feel bad for star. she spent all week dealing with fallout from marellis "voulnteering" her using the black mail pic for the baby charity event. when she got to mandas she thought she was safe away from marellis and hes right there im not surprised shes upset as she thought mandas would be a place she could escape it all

Honestly, that DOES seem a bit extreme. Star’s gonna be upset. She went there to get away from what was causing her stress, and instead ran right into it in the middle of a VERY touchy situation. She’s just getting started in the scene, this is no doubt a bit much for her. I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t end up defenestrating someone....

I feel bad for Star; her secret almost exposed by her boss, being forced to do tasks as blackmail/hush money, getting humiliated in front of her friends, now her boss is being forced to be humiliated and filmed with her. I don’t know if I would be laughing, angry, upset, or feel any other emotions about her situation.
As for Marellis, he had it coming. Martin probably told them about the video and found more evidence about his actions and are blackmailing him into doing this.

Yeah I'm glad that's how it's turning out. This feels too vindictive for Star to want to happen, I'd personally just want this all to pass so everyone could move on, this is just more and more blackmail. But of course it is not just Star that's been blackmailed, who knows what videos and pictures Marellis has, Marellis (the character in the story not the wonderful person) definitely needs some punishment and, if you'll pardon the joke, everyone shouldn't be acting so childish and this should have been handled with much more care for EVERYONE involved. It's wonderful that the gang is so fierce in defending Star, but revenge begets revenge. Very excited to see how the story progresses.

I look at it this way. Whether the lion squealed or not, this is much bigger than Star, and she has to understand that. This is about protecting the ABDL community and culture.. Marellis presented a danger to that community, and had to be dealt with swiftly to keep that danger from growing. These playdates simply couldn't happen if there was no trust between members of the group, and no assurance of privacy. It was selfish to ask that Marellis' behavior be kept a secret, because he had the potential to do a lot more damage to a lot more people.

That was very unexpected

I know what is going through Star's mind at this moment as I too have been myself. She's not happy about this, she's in utter dismay where she believed where she could confide in one person that had listened only for that trust to get kicked in the dick. She thought she trust someone that could take care of her to keep her secrets and pain, only for that person to announce them to everyone in a 50 meter radius. Star isn't upset that Marelis is in the situation, she may be slightly sympathetic that this was his punishment given her current experience with the community, she's upset by the fact she poured her trust, love, and possible devotion into someone and it's shatters right in front of her. She has the sudden feeling and possible realization that her life is completely over and the respect anyone has or had for her is wiped from existence because of what is happening in the comic.

On the otherhand, I also understand Martin's perspective right now. He's thinking of two things. 1. How does he get Star away from Marelis and 2. How does he get Marelis away from the community in general. For the first, his feelings in the comic are very similar to some people I've met in the community. Overly compassionate, protective, and will do anything to ensure your safety. This is Martin right now: overly compassionate, protective, and is willing to do anything to make sure that Marelis takes the hint of "Stay the ever loving shit away from Star". It's ver understandable to you and me that if we had a loved one who was being abused by someone, we wouldn't give ten hoots, a dime, and a pound for the victim's future because we are thinking "how do we get this person away from this SOB now?" instead of "how do I make sure that we can ensure the safety of our friend without hurting them?" and that leads to this. Sadly, it is the most likely case for some people. Secondly, he knows that if Marelis stays in the community, other littles can get hurt too and they may not have the same advantages as Star does right now. With this in mind and taking into account of littlespace and how easily someone in that mindset can be taken advantage of, he decides that he has to out him immediately. I've said it once and I'll say it again chief. Littlespace is not a toy, it is a construct of ones younger self where vulnerability is the name of the game for them. Then we come to this page, both look at each other. One is wracked with guilt and the other's eyes are filled with feelings of betrayal.

I think the fact there's a camera there is pretty interesting. While I'm sure Manda didn't have anything mischievous in mind for Star, it almost feels like Star is walking into some kind of trap. I don't blame her for running out of the room.

We could also probably write a few hundred pages of comments regarding the fact that Marellis is there, as well.

As much as I love revenge situations I do feel they should have left Star out of it. She was coming over there to get away from the stresses of her daily life, not to see one of the people causing the stress in her life being dealt with by her new friends. I understand that they would want to make an example of *snickers* "Mary" because videoing that gathering for blackmail purposes was so many levels of fucked up. Star didn't want this side of her life being tainted like this and now she probably thinks Martin blabbed about it which I really doubt. Betting Manda, Tessa, or some other random abdl saw the poster, maybe saw or heard about the situation at the party between Star and Marellis, and put two and two together.

Well... this is going to be a rather painful situation for Star and Martin. Trust: Easy to lose, tough to regain.

And yeah, this seems really out of character for marten/manda/lure. I'd think that experienced kinksters would know better than to just shove someone who'd been through that kind of trauma back into the situation.

The only thing I can think is that somehow they thought the picture in the base poster was consensual, and so they're specifically punishing Mary and including Star as a kind of "we know you didn't know any better so you get off this time, but this is what happens when you don't follow the 'no photos' rule" thing. Martin might not have known Star was coming, and even if he did he might not have said anything since she didn't want to him tell people about the blackmail. That would explain the awkward expression in the 4th panel, and the only way I can really see Manda and Lure doing this is if they're acting on incomplete or wrong information.

As others have brought up, Tessa is military as well, in some as yet revealed capacity. Then I see that Marelis is there diapered and dressed up as 'Mary' as punishment for video recording others at the ABDL party. He's not restrained though. Which means that they have something over him that has forced him to comply with being put in such a humiliating (and well deserved) position.

My only guess is that Tessa outranks Marellis and/or now has enough evidence against him to have him court martialed and dishonorably discharged, and that he now is being forced into this humiliating (and still well-deserved) arrangement to save is military career, which I hope also means that he'll be taking Star's place at that charity event.

There are many implications here as well as many issues.

1: If she goes along with this Martin may leave her alone but his anger and original justifiable annoyance with her will turn into hatred.
2: There are already some possible legal issues at hand here with this. Just as it was illegal to for him to blackmail her it is just as illegal to do to him.
3: This is a source of comfort and escapism for her so seeing her boss here and continuing the AB play with him as a "playmate" might kick her out of that blanket of comfort. Even if it is to level some revenge against him.

A couple of other thoughts on No:2 He was gone ALL DAY from work today. I assume to go and talk to Manda and the other furs that run this group. So either they spent all day trying to get him to lay off or they just skipped to the revenge scheme. Seeing as she got a Text earlier I'd say it was the later. Meaning they sort of kidnapped him. And I also kinda feel sorry for him as well, colored with light layer of "well he had it coming". Star seemingly has been flaunting military protocol. As I said before her hair would annoy ANY superior officer and judging from other comments from her collages she has a history of being late to work. On top of that she disobeyed a direct and probably lawful order to work his shift for the weekend as punishment. Using what she skipped and disobeyed him for frankly seems like the perfect response even to me. It doesn't excuse him for sure, but I can still see WHY he did it. And I kinda feel like he is getting the short end of this stick.
I sure hope that the ends in a way that they can both see eye to eye.
