Any how. This design is pretty much the same as the red rosed one I posted a few days ago, but this one is a more peach color and with alot more rose and leaf detail.

Bicolored leaves and such.

Lady absolutely loved the cake.

Curious, how big a nail do you use for your roses? :o

The one I used for this cake had about a 2" diameter. Usually just a 1 1/2" but I usually have rose hanging over the sides no matter what size I use. These roses were built on a 3" tall base before I started adding petals.

That is absolutely gorgeous! I worked in a bakery for a couple years and I never quite got the hang of roses. My coworkers said it was because I was left handed and they were all right handed so it was hard to teach me. Story of my life, lol!

Anyway, Beautiful cake! I love it!

I"m the official-unofficial trainer at our bakery. I actually am right handed but learned to do them left handed too to help out the lefties. And it is alot harder because all the angles you have to use change.

I was gonna say you must work in a bakery.

So did I went I was a senior in high school: I was the guy who scrubbed all the floors, counters, and sterilized all the fridges and freezers, then came home smelling like... Bakery.
