The Hy'Gong HG-F4H-5 was a large, single seat, twin engine, multiple fighter inservice with the MDAF from 1965-1989 and into the MADA from 1989 to 1993. Developed from the McDonnell Douglas F4H-5 the HG featured several improved features such as more larger elevators, lighter weight (helped mainly by the reduction of crew from 2 to 1), more advanced avionics and electrical systems. The biggest difference between the two aircraft is the HG only having 1 crew member (the pilot) as the upgrade to the avionics and weapons systems made the systems controller redundant and with theor removal along with the systems for them reduced the aircarfts weight by about 700kg and reduced the length down by about 2m. Another difference, albeit much less noticeable is the nozzles being level with the aircraft, done at first becausd they believed that a more in line exhaust would give greater thrust into the aircraft as they weren't going to be losing energy in upwards force on the airframe it proved little gain and simply was left as it seemed unnecessary to change the production line. Although not visible in the picture the paint job of the MDAF aircraft were light grey with dark grey control surfaces and doors with black anantiglare on the nose.

OK this is for real the last post before my unavailability, im literally posting this at 30k feet heading back to base at 10PM EST. Yes I obviously lnow its upside down but you know how FA is with posting from phones. Also this was done on the back of my flight itinerary so the bend of the straight line in the middle is from the fold which should be visible.
