So Califur's con theme this year was Furry Comics. Instantly I thought of C&H because they were who I grew up with. They also drove my super religious baptist mom crazy to the point of her throwing out and destroying EVERY single book I ever owned of them. She said they were a bad example for me because Calvin was a rebellious little kid who did not honor his parents authority. Ha!

This is for you mom. Years and years later I'm still loving Watterson's work. It's funny how what some parents try to keep you from only makes you want it more.

Tally nailed my vision though here. I told her exactly what I wanted and she delivered. The font is the actual C&H font (yes it does exist, google it) that I helped out with. As for the background ;) Turntable slipmats just happened to be the best place in my apt for good lighting.
