I assure you Metharom is just there to help people. If anything in the story she's playing a "punching bag" worse than Miss Muffett, since she has to endure people who are not just ignorant, but actively hate her. And i wanted to tell a story where understanding "the other" comes from a "ghandi-like" level of "please don't be mad and listen to my reasons".

Aglaea is definitely my favorite of the group, even though I know they all share the same mind. Such a gorgeous artificial archaeopteryx!

I've been looking forward to more Metharom pictures and story. I've seen you explain basic plot before (though you didn't have it all hammered out apparently), and I while I'm not expecting a happy ending, I do hope that some part of Metharom survives, through backups, offsite transfer or whatever.

I'm guessing that the drones don't have much AI processing on their own and might be limited to areas near the main computer, but I'd still love to take Aglaea home for cuddles.

And as long as the drones can access internet Metharom can move them, though possibly with some lag.

That's reassuring. I saw that you had been reconsidering different plot elements because they didn't sit well. I hope the revised plot turns out well. I've been keeping my eye on the Metharom/Jurassic Gym setting since the beginning, and I'm definitely eager for more.

As for internet access for the drones, that's an amusing thought. Imagine if someone stole Aglaea, or if they somehow convinced her to go out with them to a nearby park for a date, or come home to visit at least for a short time. WiFi is available in a ton of places, and there's always cellular data as well. (though another amusing thought is drone "dropouts" when passing through areas with poor signal) I can picture an AI curious about the world, sending drones out to explore after closing, assuming they have enough battery charge.

Please don't steal the Metharom drones. It makes her sad and her program shut down for lack of funding.
