Breakfast for Barra
Drew this last month while the Monster was eating breakfast and I was streaming. Today, she is Three and I think this illustrates just how far she's come in the last three years. See! Such a big girl now.

She's doing well. She uses what vision she has much better than expected. It has certainly surpassed any expectations I had.
Her skills today include:
A vocabulary of more than 100 words
Walking and maneuvering on her own
Running in familiar environments
Using a cane or push toy to map areas and recognize dangers
Using vocal commands to navigate strange environments (left, right, stop, turn around)
Sorting and understand where objects go. (pop cans in one container, garbage in another for example)
Coloring with Crayons, and when I'm not paying attention, my tablet
Mimicing some behaviors (words especially, doing the laundry, putting dishes in the dishwasher.)
She's still delayed by a year, but she's made EXCELLENT progress.

And I must say I'm impressed by what she can already do! Hee hee, sounds like she can do a lot more than I could when I was three... but then again, that was long ago that I can't remember anymore what I could and couldn't do at that age. Heh... they grow up so fast, don't they?
