This is a picture of the prototype fox from PuffyPaws. This is a miniature prototype to verify that they have the artwork the way we wanted it. Hopefully we'll see a full-sized version soon!

I was trying to keep it fairly unisex. I've been making a bit of an effort not to assign a sex to them either, though the guys over at PuffyPaws did. I'm just happy to be getting an inflatable fox after 30 years of wanting one.
My next project is going to be decidedly more feminine depending on how the concept art works out. I have a few more potential projects in mind though, and some of those are going to be more masculine too. It'll take a while to get a feel for the medium and what looks good, but I'm happy to keep playing with it as long as my cash and storage space holds out.

I'm still after PuffyPaws to do another run for the folks who missed them the first time. The inflatableworld.de husky was also done by Rawr and features several improvements I'd planned to make if I did a second generation fox. I've got a few more ideas in the queue before I'd revisit that one, though. I'll see how the new fox ride-on toy does at inflatableworld.de and then go from there.
Well they're both Rawr's artwork, but the Husky was made by someone else. The husky has actual feet. We discussed doing that on the vixen, but decided to keep the design simple. I also liked the husky's 1 chamber design, its slimmer body and longer muzzle. I think I'd leave off the hair, though.
I really like how the face on the fox toy I'm doing through inflatableworld.de turned out. I think if I were to do another anthro fox now, its face would be more like that. I really like the shiny vinyl they used for it, too. I wanted to do something like that on the original fox, but PuffyPaws' supplier couldn't manage anything like that. They do some freaking awesome seams though, I'll give 'em that.

I am thinking of doing another anthro in the near future, though it probably won't be a fox. Like I said, I have several ideas in the queue that I want to get to before revisiting that. I've also kind of been hoping that someone else would do one, so I could see a different perspective on it. That keeps not happening, though. I guess I don't want to Bogart designing all the anthro foxes! I need to pay for a wingsuit I have on order before I do anything else, too.
From what I hear, iw.de has a lot of stuff coming down in the October shipment, too, so I'll need to assess what I'd like to see sooner rather than later once I see what they're offering. A lot of ideas I've had have already been done by others, sometimes better than my original idea -- that white Toothless dragon looks VERY nice! I was thinking of doing a big dragon in that style, but don't really need to, now. I was also going to see if maybe I couldn't have a Pony OC done, but am not going to pursue that idea with Hongyi merrily infringing on Hasbro's trademarks.
It's great that there are a lot of good toys available now. Five years ago when I did this fox, the inflatable toy landscape was pretty bleak.

My pleasure! I'm glad you like the toy. Even though it was mostly just a present to myself for my 40th birthday, I was quite aware that other people would want one too, and tried to design something that would have widespread appeal. I hope you're able to get one at some point.
I couldn't have done it without Rawr -- working with him really makes the whole process very easy.
So far at least the wingsuiting thing is going swimmingly. I've managed flight times up over 90 seconds, which is over twice my average freefall time and distances that look to be in the neighborhood of 3 miles. Hopefully I can hit the 2 minute mark with the bigger suit I have ordered. The guys on the monster suits can manage nearly 4 minutes but tell me it's quite hard on the arms to keep them extended into the wind that long.
When you do it right, the whole suit inflates around you, which is pretty neat. and you can feel the air rushing through it. It's quite the experience!
