Huh. It's easy to forget that Indians weren't just one monolithic people, but several tribes. A bit further south Coyote had the Trickster job. I wonder how well the two get along, these days?

You can probably bet they still go out and do a 'once a year' prank together on the mortals.

Yeah, that true, thats why I wrote of the pacific north-west, the tribes in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Arcadia. I bet he and Coyote hang around from time to time.

Pretty cool take on Crow. I am curious if you'd considered such indigenous gods before Wes's commission, or this just a happy coincidence?

Just curious because if any future commissions with this line of thinking, would they become part of the Small Gods mythos? (heh, mythos~)

I actually didn´t consider them just because of the geograpfic distance. Crow and the three egypten gods almost certainly don´t even know each other (Crow has probably read about them, and assumes that they are dead since their religion is gone), even thou they are the same species. If there are similar future comissions, they could become part of the lore. Crow is now part of the universe of the comic.

Fair enough, I can see why they wouldn't directly interact with the main cast of characters, but it does help further develop and shape the greater world, especially as it gives you a good idea of how other gods have adapted to modern times, with ones like Crow, are adapting far better then others could be considered. Though, given his trickster nature, it does make me wonder what other such gods (Loki, Coyote, Sun Wukong, Anansi etc.) are up to...I mean *looks at the last few years* Some pretty chaotic shit has happened...though I guess that's rude of me to pawn off on them, but still...
