This is a memorial piece I did to remember my goobsie (what I call my geese), sweet baby. She passed away this past week in my arms and it's left me absolutely devastated. This is just one way I've tried to cope with what happened. I'll post my farm insta and story below and for anyone wondering this is a paint over of an actual image I took of my baby.
My poor baby sweet girl passed away this morning (January 7th) at 2:30 AM in my arms. I'm an emotional wreck and this will probably take me a while to get over...
I'm so upset that I couldn't get an avian vet to take her in sooner. She had an appointment for today at 11 AM but she didn't make it and I'm just left feeling so heartbroken and upset.
I'm not sure if she had sour crop or what but she's gone, a part of me was taken with her.
Losing a pet goose has got to be one of the most upsetting things I've ever experienced and coping is so hard.
