Meet Gacrux the Horror of Land of Fire

Marine linnorm that lives in the hot waters near the shores of the fire lands, attacking and devouring unwary court. Many are afraid to see red flashes under the crests of the waves, because its strong jaws easily bite through the keel of even the strongest drakkar. The few warriors who sailed to the Land of Fire and survived say that the locals feed this creature with coal and cod to accompany their warships on their campaigns to the land of men and protect them from danger. Experienced sailors who have lost their youth, all their teeth and a couple of limbs in the wanderings say that the creature prefers to live on basalt reefs left by underwater volcanoes, on which it moves extremely quickly, clinging with its clawed paws and helping itself with its tail. They say the first sign of the Gacrux's presence is the absence of any other predators that the creature eats first.
All this is nothing more than the rumors of frightened sailors living in the south of Midgard. The only thing that a brave navigator can be sure of is that it is better not to get caught by this ferocious predator of southern waters.
