I'm sorry, but snakes don't get depressed. They are not social animals and do not enjoy each others company. They do not become mated pairs or get attached to each other. They are not mammals.
In fact, keeping snakes together can cause great stress, and possibly kill one or both of them. I would definitely recommend separating them, for their health.
