I love doing political cartoons, it's true. But because I live in Newfoundland, an island secluded and far away from the horror going on in the world (it's not perfect here though, don't get me wrong, I want off), I don't believe it suitable on my end to go beyond 'conservative man bad' as a punchline. But when you see the news... it's a real horror story. Certain people are beyond sympathy now, beyond redemption even. A cap labeled 'Hotel Auschwitz' was f'n worn in America in the year 2021.
Political satire, cartoons, caricature, sci-fi dystopia... it's all getting close to reality these days.
