When I sketch I spend so much time trying to make it perfect. You never really see the sloppy phase of artists work, so it's intimidating to think "OMG It has to be perfect the moment you start!"

lmao, you want to know what's so weird? I actually prefer my sloppy sketches over my finished product. I feel I can accept the mistakes in sketches so much more easily than I can accept the final piece... idk why? maybe because I think it's intimidating that people are judging a piece that is complete? hm.
