Sup.
It's uh... been a while, huh. I finally felt up to finishing a drawing - not one of the sketches that have been sitting around for several months, but still. I got the chance to draw out a character idea I'd had for ages. Meet Lemony! I'd hesitate to call her a slime girl since her form is more dragon-like than humanoid, but this isn't her natural form anyway. She could easily shapeshift into a more humanoid form. (And yes, definitely not inspired by Goodra, and ESPECIALLY not inspired by shiny Goodra.)
I've been a viewer of Vinesauce for... probably more than 5 years by now, but this is the closest thing to fanart I've done so far. What made me take the plunge? Well, the anniversary of a certain stream moment involving a slime girl just passed. (If you don't know the story, that's probably for the best.)
I enjoyed the colouring process on this one - making her look soft and gooey and shiny. I'm pretty pleased with the results. I've got a whole bunch of headcanon stuff about how her species works; for example, her eyes are purely cosmetic. She actually sees with the antennae on her head, so in her natural form she doesn't have eyes as we'd recognise them. They're just there in her Earth-creature-friendly form to make it easier for us to feel comfortable around her. I've wanted to use an idea like this on a character for a while - here you can see me coming up with it in August 2018: (link)
Anyway, it's good to be back. I can't promise anything with regard to my output this year, but I'm not out of the race yet!
