I've always wanted a Chocobo because... I mean look at them! This was a fun design to undertake since its a little out of my comfort zone
Funnily enough, I used to not like birds that much because my brain justified something about their paws differently than reptiles per se, but I have since grown into them.
Some info on Emile here, or Miles as I have nicknamed him: from conception I imagined him as a fantasy deliveryman in a desert setting, since a hard job with lots of running seems like a perfect fit for an animal like a Chocobo. (A FF14 specifically may I add!)
I integrated a bit of their history as mounts into the reigns he wears too, just because they are cool! Also his nickname Miles, while being derivative of Emile a bit, is a bit of a reference to Miles "Tails" Prower, since well they both run and are yellow and all. Enough bird lore, enjoy!
