They were considering a ban 2 days ago but Sepp Blatter defended the horns. It might take people throwing their horns into the field or bopping each other with them for a ban.
I miss the chanting and cheering that was in the hockey matches for the Winter Olympics. Totally different sport but crowd atmosphere's the same.

it's during the anthems when they all take the deepest breath possible to blow the accursed things for 90 minutes straight!

All you have to do is press mute and then you can watch the game in peace. Except if you want to hear what the commentators are saying.
For me and my family, it doesn't help if you have kids walking up and down the street blowing the vuvuzelas and also some of the neighbors.
