Part 2 of 2 'vent' pictures. As anyone who's paid attention to the news or politics of any kind in the last few years should know, a demographic in the United States has been making a particular uproar. While I typically prefer to keep politics out of work, and I want that to include my drawings, let's just say that it all coming to a head with what happened on the 6th of this January, just a few days ago. As someone who identifies as a casual liberal, and who wants to see people manage to be happy regardless of most political beliefs, it's been hard to keep my mouth shut, especially around my immediate family who leans hard conservative.
Now, with what must blatantly be called a domestic terrorist attack on the capitol, incited by 'conservative' leaders no less, I needed to let out some steam; so did Taze, who's solution for the whole deal is to simply eat everybody trying to garner support or sympathy for this dumbassery.
DISCLAIMER: Under no circumstances do I actually support attacking, harassing, harming, or killing people of the "MAGA" crowd. I simply just needed to get out my frustrations regarding them and the, quite frankly, childish and dangerous behavior their most vocal members have exhibited.

I can definitely agree with you on how Nazis and anyone with Nazi-like beliefs are bad and we need to go greener and racial justice needs to be a real tangible thing and not just a nice idea that non-people of color use to show they're "woke". Hopefully we'll start getting the chance to take things in a new direction soon, but while misinformation runs through everyone's ears, it's going to be a very difficult fight to bring people real education.
I'm sure there's a few out there who'll want to pick a fight and make themselves look like idiots. The sad part is I know not everybody in that crowd is as brainless and bigoted as the ones who attacked the capitol, it's just those ones are the loudest. I actually worked with a Trump supporter at my old job who actually one of the nicer ones, more focused on his own life experiences and ideology rather than just mindless obedience to a figurehead; even as the squabbling over the electoral college started, we just shrugged to each other and respected that we both had differing opinions. It's possible.
Yeah, I know some people who are only kinda riding the wave too. I've always maintained that there are probably good people who joined when it seemed harmless enough and now are too overinvested to pull out their support. Hopefully the recent times has helped some of them wake up, but there will always be some who would rather remain asleep.
This is a vent piece though? I'm not technically making any leftist comments because my comments are based not on political content and rather on a person's ability (or inability) to choose when and when not to participate in the public conversation. I myself will not go picking fights because the site staff can police their own house, they don't need me to go doing it for them. ^^;

Oh yeah, and free speech just means you generally won't be jailed for what you say, but it's all about the context of your words. It's not a free pass to say whatever you want without repercussions, what you say still carries consequences if you're careless.

Still nothing has been done to ban the hateful neo nazifurs that draw hate art thatcelebrate evil fat nazi reporters or the jan 6 traitors that committed treason and Terrorism its not hard to figure it out who is alt right and ban them for hate speach. Everyone needs to report the nazfurs so the anthro community can be safe.
