I've had some interest in
posexe 's Libredrone aesthetic for a while, thanks to his own designs and
taranth 's expansion on it, so I felt compelled to try one for myself.
While I'm not really one for drone content, the fact that the wearer's free will/personality is still intact, and that the suit eventually comes off made it more appealing to me personally. That and the wrestling theming, of course.
With all that, here's a Cubone and Abra in those suits, or someone wearing cubone and Abra suits, it could be either one. Also, some back shots.

I definitely dig the aesthetic, especially with a wrestling/fighting theme attached with it. Huge fan of both designs
Thanks 👍
I'm quite a fan of it myself, I'm interested in drawing more of it, specifically how the suits affect the way they wrestle

The cubone is meant to be female, yes
I would recommend reading Taranth's stories to get a better understanding of how I'm fairly certain it's supposed to work.
But, as far as I'm aware, there's a suit divided into 3 parts, a mask, top, and bottoms, one puts it on, and it morphs around the shape of their body.
The suit then comes together as a singular piece in the shape of a particular pokemon as seen above, though the wearer doesn't necessarily need to be that pokemon
It has a pretty strong TF theme to it, since the wearer is kinda transformed into the drone, so to speak, they don't have any bones or internal structure in that form, so they can be bent/stretched/squeezed/etc in various exaggerated manners. They appear to keep their free will and personality, differentiating them from other drone stuff, but are also horny? like for fighting or some sort of physical stimulation.
At some point in time after putting it on, it'll divide back into 3 pieces, and can be removed. I think it varies in the stories how long the transformation lasts, but it does eventually come off.
In the story, the originally human wearers are transformed into the pokemon, but are otherwise the same. Though I'm just going to assume these two here were pokemon to start out, I just prefer that, personally.
I'm not sure how much of that is consistent with their original vision, but that's how I've come to understand it

Big fan of how tightly shaped the anatomy is here!
And the masks with that faceless aesthetic, Nice!

Oh, thank you 🙌, I thought I'd try a more "athletic" approach, I suppose.
Regardless, I'm glad you like it, it certainly means a lot

Oh my, that is some extremely impressive shine/shade work in pencil =O Very nice indeed.
Very glad you've enjoyed the fics and the concept in general! :) Love seeing other folks' take on the libre drones!

Ah, thank you, I always enjoy some good shine, wrestling+latex is something I've long since had an interest in, so the libredrones were right up my alley
