Redesigned some lion wlws uwu REALLY happy with how they turned out, too!

Virinii on the left is the empress of Kiil’rah Empire. Years ago, she hopelessly fell for one of her bodyguards, Lervaela. Because she already had a queen, though, she could only take Lervaela as a consort. They had two litters together, with the third sibling of the first litter being Allerick. She’s a tough leader and a distant mother, which is standard for someone in her position, but she has a soft spot for the cubs she’s sired with Lervaela. And yes, Virinii is a trans woman.

Lervaela on the right is a nobody from the outer reaches of Kiil’rah space and it shows in her breeding. Her father was a snow leopard, which is considered very taboo in the central empire to cross breed with other castes. Lervaela gets by this by saying her spotting is just juvenile markings (which is undesirable in its own right, but not ridiculously taboo). She fell just as hard for Virinii, but has no interest in being her queen even if that could happen.
