The issue with Ranger games was they killed your touchscreen on the DS because of the rapid circling you had to do. While there is a stylus thing for the Switch, I don't think the Pokemon Company would risk people being upset over damaged screens with joycon drift still being common. Unless they made it so you just swing the joycon itself? But then how would you "aim" it if it doesn't have a sensor bar like the Wii?
