These feet were built on a sock base rather than a shoe base. This was my first time with the technique and I encountered some snags along the way, but I feel like I've learned a lot. My younger brother, who modeled the feet for me as he's got the same shoe size as the customer, said he finds the sock base a lot more comfortable and flexible, if a little bit harder to get on. He also declared that wearing these feet around the house made him feel "bad-ass". (He's fifteen.) The pawpads are a durable foam mat intended for using as flooring for garages and tool sheds, so the feet have durable soles that allow you to wear them outside with minimal wear-and-tear.
