Brendan Thompson is a 35-year-old male blaziken from On’nami, the Mirai region, who works as a stand-up comedian that specializes in observational comedy and dark humor.

If you were to encounter Brendan in everyday life, you would say that he has a charming personality and a genial spirit. But once he puts a foot on a stage and is given a microphone, all compassion disappears to be replaced with an unforgivingly savage mindset that takes no prisoners. That smile of his becomes less kind-hearted and more… mischievous. Expect his repertoire to consist of self-deprecating jabs at himself being a fat fighting-type pokemon and savage jokes that often involve punchlines relating to sensitive subject matter like death, drugs, disease, and disabilities.

His design, personality and style of comedy are inspired by some of my favorite comedians, with Gabriel Iglesias and Ralphie May supplying the “funny fat guy” gimmick, and Jeff Ross, Anthony Jeselnik and Bianca Del Rio supplying the “morbid sense of humor” gimmick.
